Association for Women in Sports Media Scholarship and Internship Awards
If you’re a female college student aspiring to a career in sports writing, editing, broadcasting or public relations, you could earn a paid summer internship. All interns will receive a $1,000 scholarship from AWSM in addition to whatever pay the internship provides. Copy editing interns will receive an additional $1,000 scholarship from the Associated Press Sports Editors. All interns also receive $300 toward travel expenses to the 2007 AWSM Convention in Dallas, waived convention fees and free lodging at the host hotel.
